If you are looking for altered states of psycho-babble
conscious-mess, you won’t find it here. I have a few
techniques for slinging paint, I usually start with absolutely no
idea in mind. I am a true surrealist, I pull my forms from the
canvas. I develop a completely new technique for each piece.
One I threw my drink at, another was set on fire. Ecce Homo
came from a truly abysmal  hangover.

Here are my Axioms of Art :
No. 1 :  Content. The most important component. If you
have something strong to say, even if the technique sucks, it
can bloody well work. You can have a real piece o’ shit but if
the subject matter is strong enough, it can still kick ass.
No. 2 :   Technique. A great “tool”, but too many  artists
use technique in lieu of content , thinking to “wow” them with
expertise alone.
No. 3 :  Movement. This is a matter of personal preference.
Some pieces can only work stuck right smack dab in the
middle. It’s far better to give the viewer more than a static
image. Move the eye over the work.
No. 4 : My personal favorite. To quote Iggy Pop, Does it
grab you by your “Short n’ Curlies”?
My favorite Artists:  Max Ernst, H.R. Giger, Salvador Dali,
Frank Frazetta, and Maxfield Parrish.
